It looks as though 2011 will be huge year for our girl! The Way Back as received a wide release date of January 21st 2011, according to one of producers of the film, Joni Levin. Levin says that the film will be released for one week in December and make its way nationwide the following month. How exciting! As you know, Hanna will be released only three months later, so we can expect to see lots of Saoirse in the coming year! Read a full article here. Looks like Saoirse has booked a new role in Violet and Daisy! Apparently this project also involves Carey Mulligan and Bruce Willis. The movie, directed by Geoffrey Fletcher, will come to theaters in 2012. You can read a small article about this below:

Saoirse Ronan is in talks to star in upcoming feature Violet and Daisy. Scripted by Oscar-winning Precious screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher, the movie is billed as a girl-power story that’s Thelma & Louise meets Superbad and Pulp Fiction.

What happened to Simply Miss Ronan and/or Access Saoirse?!” Well, you also probably remember me mentioning some big changes coming? Abi, Julia, and I have merged SMR and AS to create the largest source for Saoirse! You can access the site from saoirse-ronan.org for now, and you’ll soon be able to access it from access-saoirse.com as well. We’ve been working long and hard on this and we really hope everyone likes it! Julia made both the gallery and icon archive themes, aren’t they beautiful? I’ve also put up a brand new layout at the fanlisting made by me. The forum will have a new theme soon as well, one I hope everyone will like, so be sure to check back for that, and join if you can! =) Very soon, we will have a full media archive for you to browse, but we’re still working on getting it all set up.
